Merry-Go-Round 2008-2009 School Calendar

We will usually follow the Bismarck Public School Calendar with a few exceptions.  On Storm days, we will notify you of school cancellations via local radio stations.  We will have this announced by 8:00am.  If you are unsure of a cancellation, please call Jo @ 391-0342. For the safety of the children, we may cancel school even though Bismarck Public Schools are in session.

When funerals are scheduled at the church, it may be necessary to cancel school for that day.  If this happens, we will notify you of the cancellation of classes by phone.

August 26, 2008	"Meet-N-Greet" Night 6:30pm
September 2/3, 2008	First day of classes for students
October 23/24, 2008	NO SCHOOL - Teacher's Convention
November 10/11, 2008	NO SCHOOL - CONFERENCES (schedule between 8:00 and Noon either day if you choose)
November 11, 2008	NO SCHOOL - Veteran's Day
November 27/28, 2008	NO SCHOOL - Thanksgiving break
December 18/19, 2008	Christmas Program/ Last day of school before Christmas break
January 5/6, 2009	School Resumes/ '08-'09 Registration begins
January 19, 2009	NO SCHOOL - Martin Luther King Day
February 16, 2009	NO SCHOOL - President's Day
March 12/13/16, 2009	NO SCHOOL Conferences(12-schedule between 8:00 and Noon) - Spring Break (13 and 16)
April 10/13, 2009	No School - Easter Break
May 14/15, 2009	Final Day of classes
May 15, 2009	Graduation for M/W/F students
May 18, 2009	Summer Vacation Begins
